How Bates numbering works here

Numbers run across every document in the order you list them, so a 14-page production followed by a 3-page letter becomes ACME_000001 through ACME_000017. Set how many digits to pad to, add a suffix, and choose whether to stamp every page, only the first page, or a range like 1-3, 5.

Labels and confidentiality legends

Each page has six stamp positions. Put the Bates number in a bottom corner and use the others for legends like CONFIDENTIAL or ATTORNEYS' EYES ONLY, the date, the page count, or the file name. The zip includes a CSV index of the first and last Bates number of every document.
